Au Pair's Message to Families
Dear Family,
My name is Marie, I am 20 years old and am from Denmark. I finished the Gymnasium (year 12) this summer and since then I have worked in old-age home care and taken a month's trip across europe so now I am ready to experience Australia as your au pair :)
I see myself as a lively, humorous, social and responsible girl, and even though i don't have any previous experience as an au pair i have plenty of experience taking care of and babysitting my friend's and family's children. I love being around children, cykling, going to the park and lots of other exciting things, so I am sure your kids and I will have lots of fun together. Also my experiences with childcare and old-age care have taught me a lot about caring for others and I am sure there are days when this is needed to.
During my three years at the gymnasium I have been working some hours every week as a cleaning girl in an also used to helping my parents cleaning our house, so if you need me to do some cleaning as well it wouldn't be a problem. The same goes for cooking.
I would love to expirience Australian culture while being a part of a nice family so I look forward to hearing from you :)
