Au Pair job description
-30-35 hours babysitting per week (exact timing of this could be different every week as I work from home and have to remain flexible) -1-2 evenings babysitting per week -light housework, tidying up (esp. toys!), laundry, ironing, easy cooking -weekends would be free 95% of the time -German classes :-)
Family's Message to Au Pair
We are a fun, friendly, outgoing family living in Heidelberg, Germany looking for a responsible, energetic and creative Canadian Au Pair. I am Canadian and my kids are German and Canadian, so we speak both English and German at home. The children, are 6 and 8 years old and will both be attending school as of September. The children are very creative and active. They love to play outside, go for bike rides, go to the playground, play imaginary games, do arts and crafts and look at books among many other things! We also do quite a bit of bike riding, skiing and travel.
Heidelberg is a fun smallish university town about 50 minutes south of Frankfurt. We live in centre of the town so you can walk or bike pretty much everywhere.
