Au Pair or Nanny job description

helping out and taking care of our son who is 2 years old. Au-pair/nanny must be flexible. Require some household work. The laundry and Ironing, helping out with walking the dog sometimes. Willing to travel with the family on trips outside Germany as well.

Dear Au-Pair/Nanny,

We are looking for a nice and flexible nanny who can help out with the care of our son Max who is 2 years old.You must be able to speak English and it would be nice if you can speak a little German, our son is raised in Dutch and German but will be attending an English school next year therefore both languages are important. You need to love animals since we have a dog and two cats that we adore!

We are a family from The Netherlands and we've been living here in Germany for 4 years. We live between Düsseldorf and the Dutch border in a big house in a village. It's very beautiful here! My husband has his own company and travels a lot, he also has his to our house. I'm a singer and I have been working less since I had our child but I still work occasionally and therefore need some help.

Our son is very funny , happy and sociable. He loves animals, playing soccer or just relaxing in the house playing with his toys. He also likes horsebackriding, our neighbours have horses and he rides them even though he is so small...We travel a lot and he always comes with us.

We need someone who is flexible. Although I'm with my son most of the time I do need someone to help out with the general care of our son since at times we have hectic schedules due to my husbands work and mine as well (but my work is only some evenings). Occasionally you must be able to prepare a dinner for our little one. At times you might have to feed, bathe Max and put him to bed. You would come along on trips to The Netherlands or Belgium, England. I (the mom) always go somewhere to do something fun with our son, go to the zoo, playhalls, parcs, visit with friends, shopping etc. We need someone who doesn't mind doing some housework, the laundry&ironing. Sometimes when no one is home you would need to help in taking care of the animals like walking the dog and feed him and the cats. You will have very flexible working hours and a lot of free time. Our son goes to a playschool 3 x a week from 9 to 14.00. You will have your own room with television/dvd player,use of internet, your own bathroom and own entrance to the house.
