Au Pair or Nanny job description

We require our aupair to work Monday through Friday while we go to work. However, JJ goes to school from 8:30 -4.00monday - friday so your work week is light. You need to pick him up from school and take hime home or to an activity like Hockey practice or Cello.

We also like to go out 1 night per week Friday or Saturday and like for you to babysit. We are always flexible to work it out Friday us Satuday you etc. Its just courtesy from living together as a family.

The ideal situation would be if you were willing to do the house cleaning also beacause You have plenty of time to get everything done and take an English class. This is ideal but not mandatory, at the moment we have a house cleaner once per week. English classes are free at our local University so the perfect aupair could be doing everything.

We travel allot and when we are on holiday we do everything together except we want a few nights out alone we take our aupair.

Family's Message to Au Pair or Nanny

Dear Au Pair,

We have had 4 au piars in the past and like the program. We are a noisy and fun family 1/2 Italian and 1/2 Jewish. We are from NY but live in Florida because the weather is beautiful. We like to do things outdoors as much as possible and we also entertain and travel allot. Our friends and family come from all over the world so we have allot of noise and sometimes chaos in the house. Although we stick to a bed time routine for J.J. or we all pay the price for him not sleeping! We prefer French or Spanish native language for J.J. Thai is OK also as we had 3 Thai aupairs. We also want someone who really wants to have an experience with an American family. We want the person to want to go places with us because its fun and I dont think it should feel like a job. I think if you find the right person it will feel like part of the family and not like work. All of us like to cook even the JJ makes his egg in the morning. I think if you come from an outgoing close family you will be perfectly. We are very clean and want our aupair to be the same.

We like fishing - swimming- traveling- music and getting together with friends. I think we are a fun family and we seem to never have enough time to do everything.
