Au Pair job description
We are looking for an Au Pair to look after our daughter. She is currently 9 months old.
Ideally we are looking for someone that loves young children, is tolerant and patient, enjoys having fun and is outgoing and independent. Also someone with an optimistic outlook on life and if you have some experience with children aged 1-2 it would be a bonus.
Our daughter would need to be looked after 4 days a week, and possibly 1 evening. We would like our daughter to be kept busy during the day with fun activities and would like you to take her out often as well (so drivers license needed). Some help with light housework & dinner prep would be appreciated.

Family's Message to Au Pair
We are are a fun loving New Zealand professional family who live in Auckland, New Zealand. One of us is in Marketing and the other IT. We both work in the central city in Auckland. We are in our 30’s. As a family, we are quite outgoing, social, and love the outdoors. We love going to the beach in summer, snowboarding in winter or otherwise chilling, enjoying café’s restaurants and life in general. Some of the sports we enjoy are surfing, snowboarding, climbing and going to the gym. And we enjoy a wide range of music.
We live close to the city centre (about 10 minutes drive to city centre or 15 minutes by bus), in a nice suburban area with friendly neighbours. We have lots of friends in the local neighbourhood with children as well. We are 100 metres from the harbour and from a lovely park. We have some great local neighbourhood shops including 3 cafes, butcher, pharmacy, bakery etc. Our house is a lovely traditional 3 bedroom house with all the modcon’s with a garden front and back.
