Au Pair's Message to Families

Hello, nice to meet you! My name is Clemency, I am a 19 year old British girl.

I would like to become an Au Pair because I want to experience different cultures and ways of life, to travel and make new friends and to learn more about the world through my experiences.

I love children, I am a kind, patient and responsible person, cheerful, honest and warm hearted, very happy to help with English if required.

Although this will be my first time as an Au Pair, I do live with my two year old nephew and have been helping to care for him since birth. At home we have lots of fun playing, reading story books, making paper dinosaurs and many other activities that I hope I will be able to share with you.

My greatest wish is to find a kind and welcoming family who I can become great friends with. Who I can have interesting conversations with, who I can learn from and who will not mind if I have many questions for them!

In return I simply hope to become a part of your family. I am a very clean and tidy person, I enjoy small amounts of housework. I cannot cook very well but am better with cakes and biscuits! I hope very much to be like a good friend, a sister, and a teacher for you. Whatever you need help with, you are free to ask and I will try my best to help you if I am able.

I am passionate about studying, it is very important to me. I love to learn new things and hope to speak many languages one day.

My interests are reading, mostly classic novels but I also like to read about entomology. Music: Beethoven and Chopin are equal favourites (But I think Beethoven is a greater source for quotes!) I also love coffee, films, Sudoku, art galleries, museums, looking for exciting treasures in junk shops! I'm not a hugely sporty person but I do enjoy the outdoors, exploring and going for long walks, especially in the Autumn.
