Family's Message to Nanny
Dear Nanny/Aupair, We are a family of 4 (2 boys, mum & dad) with another on the way. Due to unforseen family commitments our current aupair has had to return to Germany immediately, so we really need some help! Our eldest has just started school, our youngest kinder. Me, (the mum) has to leave for Geelong in 4 weeks to be close to the hospital for when I have baby no.3. We require someone to live-in/full time to assist with all mother duties. My husband works full time plus we have a farm just out of Hamilton, Victoria. We are a very active family, love sport, love our family & friends but are also very hard workers. Our farm has sheep only & we have 4 dogs & 6 chooks! We live 15mins from the town, Hamilton (population 10,000) and drive in and out of town everyday running errands & dropping kids off - so experience driving in rural Australia would be an advantage but not essential. This is a very brief summary of our life but I can certainly expand when interest & requests come in. I realise that a lot of aupairs/nannies looking for work may not want to come to the country but as a short term option (2-3 months work), I ensure it will be action packed & fun!
