Au Pair's Message to Families
Dear host family,
My name is Paola. I am very responsible, determined, organized, honest, cheerful, with an open and enquiring mind, hard-working, patient and also very active. I enjoy listening to music, dancing, swimming, I love traveling, and I am very keen on different cultures and foreign languages. Furthermore, I do not smoke and I do not mind if any member of the family does.
I get along very well with children and I like spending my time with them because they have always something to teach you. I have been looking after children of various ages (0 - 15) since I was 17 y.o, teaching them English and Maths with the charisma and experience needed. In the past, I have developed courses in which they learnt only by means of games. These were very gratifying experiences, as well as having looked after children in a different culture.
On the other hand, I have lived in London for the past three years working mainly as a nanny and also in the customer service/hospitality environment. At the moment I am a distant learning Business student and I would like to continue my studies in Germany for a year or longer and take part on German language lessons. I am willing to help with any babysitting and/or weekends if needed and light housework related to the children.
