Au Pair's Message to Families
My name is Kirsten and I'm an 19 years old danish girl who lives in Varde, Denmark. I'm going to finish school in June, where I've studied English (fluently), German (almost fluenty), Latin and most importantly Spanish - which I really wish to improve. I was at a an international boarding school from 2008 - 2009, which had focus on French, English and social studies. In my sparetime i play tennis, socialize and work at Build A Bear Workshop. (A toystore where children come and make their own teddies and there can be held birthdays etc.) Besides that I've been doing some babysitting as well. After my sabbatical year I wish to attend the university of Copenhagen. I fell in love with Spain when I was an exchange student in San Cugat for a week in 2009 and when i visited the city of Barcelona once again in 2011, so this would be my first priority - but I'm very open to coming to another country, if the right family shows up! I love music, photography, art and architecture which I spend a lot of time on.
As earlier mentioned I would like to be an Au pair to improve my Spanish, English or French. I love to meet new people, and am quite childish by heart. I've heard from friends and family, who have said that it's a great and safe way to explore the city and make new acquaintances. If you choose me as your Au pair I would of course be prepared to help out with housework and so on. But most importantly you should choose me because I would love to be with your children. But besides this, my knowledge about being an Au Pair is very new and limited to me, so if you got any further questions, feel free to ask.
