Au Pair's Message to Families

Hello my future host family, my name is Aloeni, I am 26 years old. I live in the city of São Jose dos Campos, 100 km from Sao Paulo – Brazil. I love living in this city because is near the capital of São Paulo, the beaches and the mountain.

I live with my parents. We are a united family and have a good relationship. My father is Anicesio, he works as a police ends, he likes to cook barbecue and enjoy listening to music. My mother is Luciana, she is a housewife. She is very dedicated to our family. I have three young brothers, Lucas is 17 years old, Uriel is 16 years old and Igor is 11 years old. In the morning, they study and like to do exercise in the afternoon. My brothers and me were very well raised by our parents, they workout us good values. We are polite, responsible, enjoy having our meals together, like to travel and have fun together.

I love my country and I love even more my family and I am grateful my parents for the way they raised me. I am very nice, happy, fun, organized and very responsible. I like to wake up early and do a lot of stuff, for example; I like to play volleyball and tennis, I also go the gym and go for walk. I like traveling, know different places, go to the movie theater; go to the beach and mountains. I love take a brazilian dance class. In my free time, I love stay at home with my family, hang out with my friends, read books, listen to music, cook, make new friends and learn new things. I also like to eat out with my family, in a nice evening eat a pizza. I like to go to the mall with my brothers, so we can go to the movie theater. I am caring and polite. I always try to help people with whatever they need. I've always been proud of my parents. I have many friends and I love all of them.

Since I was a child, I always helped my mother to take care of my younger brothers, changing their diapers, giving them a bath, feeding, putting in bed. Nowadays, I take them to school and other class. I have a great relationship with my brothers. Since they were children, I encouraged them to read books. I bought all Harry Potter’s books and after read each book I took my brothers to the movie theater, so they could watch the Harry Potter’s movie too. When my younger brother started to talk, he also myself mom. I love to hang out with them, we have gone to the zoo, the amusement park, the movies; we have a lot of fun together.

My first job was at a school, where I worked for two years (begin of 2004 until the end of 2005). I took care of children from 5th to 8th grade at recess at the playground.

I have taken care of my friend’s children since January. Caique is 4 years old and Cauã is 2 years old. I pick them up them at the daycare. I love playing ball with them, the time goes very quickly. After, giving them a bath and then I return them to their mother. Their mother is my best friend.

Since last year, I have taken care of the neighbor's child every Saturday. Beatriz is 2 years old. I make her bottle, I feed her, change her diapers; prepare meals, put her in bed and play with her. She loves to sing, draw and paint.

I have a godson, he is Ryan and is 1 year old. I love him. Since he was born I help his mother, I changed his first diapers. I go on weekend in his house for playing with him and we always have fun together! I love when he calls me “godmother I love you”, he is very cute! I have many, many friends and some of them are already married and have children. I really get along well with their children because I love children.

I am graduated in business administration and I finished my master degree financial controllership this year. I have a good professional experience, so speak English fluently and have the experience of living abroad will open a lot of doors for me.

I have had my driver’s license for 6 years. I like to drive. I drive to go to work, to school, go to the doctor, the mall, go shopping, travel with friends and I drive my brothers to their courses. I can drive very well in the city and on the highways. I always go to the beach, to the mountains and to the farm driving. I can drive through rain, during the day or the night.

For these reasons I believe that be an au pair is an excellent idea. I love challenges, travel, talk, make new friends and learn new things. I really love kids and they love me!

No matter what age the children are, I will be prepared to care for them. Because in everything I do, I try to do my best.

I believe it will be an unique experience and I am very happy to know that my future host family will be part of my life in a very important moment that will be remembered forever!

I am very excited to meet my future host family; it will be a wonderful year!

After all, dreams really can come true, only believe and persist!
