Au Pair job description
We are a family with two children: one three years old and the other due at the end of March (2012). We are looking for someone who will care for our children - most of all our newborn - and whatever is necessary for their care, including: Supervise & care for children, (bath, dress, and feed infants and children); prepare them for rest; organize activities such as games, reading, and coloring; outdoor activities (walks and play); prepare and serve nutritional meals; sterilize bottles; prepares formulas and changes diapers for infants; children's laundry (including washing, folding, and storing clothes); assumes full responsibility in absence of parents.
Family's Message to Au Pair
We are an Italian-Canadian family of who live and work in Peterborough. My husband is a Professor at Trent University and I am a stay at home mother who works part-time from home. We have one beautiful, vibrant child who keeps us active and busy and are very much looking forward to the birth of our new daughter. We enjoy reading and watching movies when we have spare time, as well as cooking and baking. I love gardening and swimming. My son goes to day-care every morning until 1pm where he has lunch, and he loves it. When he returns from daycare he has his bath and then naps from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm. He is 3 years old and his communications skill are still developing. He is a smart, busy boy. We look forward to having someone help us take care of our family.
