Au Pair or Nanny job description
Provide overall housekeeping support to New Orleans home.
•Responsible for washing clothes, sheets, towel, linens and other various items on a regular basis. •Maintain the ironing for all clothing, sheets, linens, and other various items on a regular basis. •Responsible for dusting, mopping and vacuuming of the residence. •Accountable for the necessary grocery shopping and keeping refrigerators and pantry areas organized and clean at all times. •Organize and maintain all closet, cabinet and drawers spaces of the household. •Maintain a neat laundry room area. •Responsible for keeping elevator track clean and in working condition; cleaning should be incorporated into regular mopping schedule. •Polish and maintain all fine silver items. •ehold repair issues with the Owner(s). •Assist with and prepare early morning meals 5-6 days per week when the Owner(s) are in town. •Assist with and prepare evening time meals 2-3 nights per week when the Owner(s) are in town; should a dinner meal arise that the Owner(s) will be “taking out”, be available to pick-up food items and deliver back to the residence. •Prepare and put out coffee service each morning and evening. •Ability to travel and perform duties as outlined in this job description.
