Au Pair's Message to Families

Hello Dear Future Family!

My name is Angela and I am 19 yrs old. I live in Tarnowskie Gory. I took care about a few children. First were Oliwer (13) and Oskar (7). Their parents had different hours of work and from time to time I had a babysittings with boys. It was always the evenings. Then I was helping them with their homework and if they had a problems in the school I was a tutor in math, other science subjects and polish language. Sometimes we were going somewhere outside, or just playing in house in any games. If their parents came home so late, I was helping them in bathing, giving a meal and putting them to the bed. They often were helping me in cooking, and we were making sandwiches, pancakes, healthy meals and sometimes cookies and brownies. Second was Oskar (13). Our parents are friends, and we always go on holiday together. Oskar and I were going to the beach together, building up of a sand, picking up the shells and other things, which are made in a holiday. Every day we were swimming in Adriatic sea. That was so great! After sunbathing, we were going to eat something, coming back home and preparing meal, preparing ourselves to go to the center and watching performance. Beaside the fact that between us are a few years difference, we like spending time together. I also looking after Dominika, she is 3 years old and also my niece. I take care about her from her date of birth. My sister is a single mother and really need somebody's help and I do this with pleasure. My duties were: preparing milk, changing diapers, putting to the bed, bathing, singing lullabies. Now, when she is older, we play together, go to the playground, read tales... she really loves help me in cooking and cleaning. She is in my home every weekend and we create plenty of games and exercises.

In my free time I like to do artistic things in every field of art. First of all: draw, paint, sculpture, cut. Second is music. I love discover new bands, listen to new kinds of music. I’m not person who is narrow-minded, I like diversity, I’m not restricted to any kind of music, because I believe that in each there is something inspiring. Sometimes I sing, I can play on a guitar and I compose songs. I also enjoy taking photos, reading books (all types), making jewelry, sew clothes and make accessories. I like to dance, but I don’t do it often, because I don’t go on a party often. Every week I meet with my friends, I during this meeting we go to the cinema, to the park, go swim or just sit at home and talk or learn to exam.

My passion is also travelling. I don’t like get bored at home and do nothing. My father is truck driver and from young years I have opportunity to travel through Europe. My dad woke in me curiosity of world. I have been in 90% European countries and see a lot of fascinating places. Every year with my family or friends, we go to the seaside. Then I swim a lot and dive with mask and snorkel and explore underwater world. About my drive license situation: I can drive a car, parents taught me how do it skillfully and safely. I had started drive during the holiday. I Poland we need to get a course (30 hours of theory, law, road signs etc. and then 30 hours driving with an instructor). I don’t have driving license yet, but will have an exam next month. When I driving a car I feel confident and safely, I pay attention to security and it gives me a lot of fun and pleasure.

I would like to be an au pair because caring of children gives me a lot of pleasure and makes me really happy. I love watching how children grows and develops their passions.

I would like to learn other foreign language on the school course, so I can share my knowledge with your children:) I think it would be Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese or other :)

I love animals, especially dogs! I have one small and it is sooo sweet! I have two cats, love them too!:) So if you have animals I would like to take care about them!)
