Au Pair's Message to Families
Hello
My name is Anna and I am 19 years old. I live in Poland in Lodz. I am second year medical student at the Medical University of Lodz. I would like to become a doctor as my Mum, Grandmother and Grandfather to continue the family tradition. On account of the fact that I have quite long holidays in 2012, I thought that I can find a summer job and combine it with improving Spanish and English which I have already studied for 15 years. Twice I was on the English summer course in Cambridge and once in Malta. I passed the First Certificate in English and I am attending to the course preparing for the Certificate in Advanced English. I am planning to take that exam(CAE) this year. During last two years, every week I had conversation with a Canadian girl, my Mum’s student of medicine. Last summer I was on the holiday course in Seville where I was learning Spanish. My interests are pretty various. I love travelling and acquainting with other cultures. What is more, I love skiing and horse riding. From time to time, I play squash and tennis with my Dad. I can also swim and I am fond of reading books or watching good movies. As for my job experience, I am taking care of my 7 year old sister. Regularly, I am staying with her in the evenings when my parents stay longer at work or just want to go somewhere outside. Pretty often I pick my sister up from the school by my own car and take her home which is situated on the outskirts of the city. Furthermore, I am also going alone with her at the seeside during summer. Moreover, I have stayed with my Mum’s friends kids whenever it was needed.
