Au Pair's Message to Families

LETTER TO THE FAMILY

Dear future host Family ! My name is Piotr. I am 21 years old(22 in June) and I live in a small village in central Poland called Kozienice.I live with my mom,brother and sister.We have a one dog.We live in a big house with a big garden mom called Halina and she is 54 years old my brother called Michal and he is 23 years old,my younger sister Monika she is 18,nowadays she's attending to high school it is last year. I will describe you,my childcare-experiencence I've been au-pair to England since June 2011 I take care of one boy,when I started he had two years three months.He loves play with me,so do I.He also loves spend time with me. My responsibilities: wake up Joseph,give him a breakfast(when he had 2 years sometimes I fed him),potty trening,now help him with toilet. I'm playing with him,We do art&scarf,I'm prepering lunch bag. Preschool walk (nursery by car) pick him up from preschool,nursery, go to playgroud (depends on weather) Back home eat some frut,teach him and have fun.I teaching him nursery song(see video), Nowadays I,m teaching him alphabet,counting,teach him how to write his name( teach recognize letters),because he had started preschool,but still has a nursery some day. I teaching him polish lnguage,he's doing very well "see videos."

I,ve change my family on May and now I'm looking after twins boys,boys have 4 years old. I'm taking them to preschool,swiming lesson,we going to playground they love football so do I :-) I bath boys and putting them to bed. Before I became au-pair in England I was a volonteer in preschool in Poland it was for six months,six hour a day,five day a week.I took care of one boy who has a autism it was usually for four hour and them parents pick him up from preschool. My responsibilities: For 4 hours a day I took care Adas,he is disabled boy he has a autismese children needs more attention than health children. I fed him helped him with toilet,I played with him,I protected him and try to tough him. Then I took care of helthy children,play and tought health children.I thought child songs and poems.We also feed birds in winter. I helped painting drowing,recognize letters,read for them.I know education games are creative for children so we were playing lots of educatin games.I,ve tought a lot of patience,especially whe I took care of boy who has down syndrome was great experience for me,not even for be an au-pair but for my live. When I had sixteen years old I took care of my cousin's son My cousin had been going to the weekend university and her husband was working and I took care of them son.When I started he had two and a half years old and I took care of him for a one and a half year. My responsibilities: Give Maciek breakfast,get dress him,paly with him,reading story,play puzzle,cook hot lunch,help with toilte,sometimes feeding if need help,puting to nap for 2 hours, go to playground,give some frut snacks,When he was older I though him to count,day of the week,season,songs and poems.I had bathed him we ware cooking cookies together.

I also have found extra babysitting to England where I currently go. There are two children, girl Poppy who has 3 years old and boy Eddie almost 5 years old (see pictures). I have already had several babysittings. My responsibilities: cooking evening meal for children,make sure if they eat enought,keeping them entertament,help and make sure they're washed,help with toilet if need,putting to bed reading story.

About my hobby. I used to play football(soccer) with my brother in the club in Poland for six years,I was playing tenis for four years,and I also did fittnes as wellrrently I boxing in England and I love that my grandad brother was a boxer and then trener.I love sport,I love spend time in the fresh air.I also love swimming and scuba diving.I,ve been scuba diving to Spain and Egypt. Each sports teaches perseverance,regularity and punctuality,especially boxing. If your children like active life style I'll fit with your family. But spotr it isn,t all my life. I also like reading books,I like go to theatre I enjoy singing for children or in caraoke club.

I'm a christian and faith is very very improtant for me.I sure I'll be a good role model for your children,even if you are not christian.I've choosen that way in me life and it makes me good person,and also good au-pair. I am easy going,resposibleand creative,you can trust me. My expectations of being an au pair is not only having fun with the host family, but also learning something about the culture, explore your country and,meet new international friends.
